Pikachewie by Kody Koala / Donald Kennedy
Based on the Pikachewie illustration by Rob Wood, this design asks the question: is it possible that you can eventually evolve your Pikachu into a Wookie? And would a hybrid Pokewookie speak in disgruntled groans or only communicate by saying its own name?

Ho ho ho! What is this perfection?
Hearing about how much fun people had at banquet makes me tingly all over!
Sure, it was a little bit stressful (in a good way) and I didn’t really get to just socialize or take a bazillion photos like I wanted to so I could capture the entire evening, but that’s okay. I got to share it with a lot of special people in my life and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to plan an event!
Perhaps with banquet not blowing up in my face, I can really think about event planning as a career in the future! Though I’d hate to think of doing anything with out my amazing friend and partner, Jackie.
Seriously, I think she kept me sane in all of it and was always so composed about everything! She is legitimately one of the most grounded people I’ve met and I don’t think she ever got really stressed over the whole thing. With out her helping me, I probably would have drowned in all of the banquet madness. Really, I feel like most of banquet should be credited to her! Haha.
Anyways, I feel like my body is still slowly releasing all the excitement and anxiety from yesterday evening after hoping it would all come together. I think it did? At least I hope so!
Little Bro
It’s true, we almost disagree on every subject. Somehow we get very passionate about our disagreements, no matter what the topic is. Whether it’s which celebrity is hot, or which foods are the best, we can always agree to disagree. Or maybe we can’t agree to disagree at all, and that’s why we get so heated about things.
We constantly bicker and argue back and forth about the most trivial things, like paying for meals and fussing over driving me places because you don’t want me walking alone when it’s starting to get dark.
You like to start shit - and you know it! You’ve told me so repeatedly that you like to talk big and start arguments with people for the fun of it. People tell me to keep you in check, and I argue to disprove you so you’ll stop arguing, when really I know I’m probably just fueling your fire!
And despite the fact that we have almost nothing in common, from your love of sports to my love of Japanese food, we were paired. I’m not sure why, but that’s just how the cards were dealt!
Sometimes you’re overwhelming to try to deal with since you’ve got an endless amount of energy that make even my amount of energy seem scant!
But overlooking all those things, I think we make a good pair. You’re too ready to give me credit for the smallest things and spoil me with your praise and presents, when really it should be the other way around! And even though you’re older than me, I want to be the one who’s going to look out for you instead of having you look out for me and treating me like your younger sister!
What else can I say, except that you’re the best little bro. We may never find out why we were paired (a question that has plagued us since after big bro revealing!!), but I guess it doesn’t really matter because I’m glad you’re my little, and I hope our BB/LB relationship just gets stronger from here on out!
Latin vs. Greek
Whilst studying for my Classics 30 final tomorrow, I read some information that got me thinking.
The word fraternity comes from the Latin word frater, or brother.
BUT, fraternities use the Greek alphabet to identify themselves.
I wonder why.
BTW, the Greek word for brother is transliterated into adelfos.
